Rome erasmus 2009

by LL86 » Sun Jul 24, 2011 4:52 pm

I did erasmus exchange in Rome (from september to march) because I wanted to learn Italian and really see this great city (I am fascinated by Roman architecture and history). I learned itallian quite well and met a lot of people and made new friends. I recieved a scholarship of 440 euros per month which was very ok. I payed 100€ per month for accommodation and I think that was cheap. It is hard to find accommodation if you don't know the language.
We had a language course on faculty - lasted 1 month. I recommend it. When you go to Italy you have to be "patient" because itallians like to do everything "later"or "tomorrow".. I hope you know what I mean :)
Rome is one of the greatest european cities, so you will not regret spending few months there ;)
