hi!
i am from Coimbra (Portugal) and i am going to Firenze next semester.
anybody else here are going there?

can someone help in how to get a house? erasmus students cannot stay in university's residence?

Hey! I went to Firenze last year (6 months). I lived in private apartment that a college recommended to rent (I payed around 300€ per month - all included). I don't know for student dorm but I am sure that there are some. Otherwise you can take a look at this site (this are the first pages I googled): http://www.apartmentsinflorence.net/ or http://www.housinginflorence.com/apartment-request.asp
The best way to get apartment is to spend first few days when you get to Firenze in some hostel and then go around the town and look for apartments by yourself. That way you will see what apartment you can get and you will be also able to negotiate for the price :) But I must tell you that usualy apartments are old and not so clean and modern, although the prices are quite high.
