erasmus Pavia Italia

by fluch » Tue Mar 22, 2011 11:22 pm

Hi, i was on erasmus in 2007 from september to mid-march (quite a while ago yes :P )
I was in Pavia - a city in Italy, close to Milan. Nice city! I spent about 600€ a month, max 700€. I usually spent less. I believe today expeses are even higher a bit.
Regarding studying in Pavia - All classes were in Italian language, but test were in english. Professors knew english but they insisted on using italian language. They expected us (erasmus students) to have pre-knowledge of the language. Our university organised many language courses also, so I soon picked up Italian and spoke it like a real italian very soon :)
I met a lot of people from different EU countries and made a lot of freindships. We did sports together, party, travel and have fun all the time :) So erasmus is really a positive experience and I believe that everyone should experience it :)
For other info - im here! ;)
bye
